Orbital Early Stage Researcher Deepak wins first prize in CRS ocular focus group video competition

Recently the Ocular Focus Group of Controlled Release Society (CRS) organized a 3-minute video competition where participants were asked to present their research in a creative manner.

CRS is one of the largest communities of pharmaceutical researchers that are working on innovative drug delivery systems. The Ocular Focus Group-CRS is first of the specialty groups created by CRS that focuses on ocular drug delivery.

Though all videos were excellent, ORBITAL Early Stage Researcher Deepakkumar Mishra (Deepak), won the award with his video, focusing on “Debunking Ocular Drug Delivery”.

Along with this award, Deepak has been given a chance to present a talk in the technical sessions of upcoming Virtual CRS 2020 meeting where eminent scientists from all over the world will be discussing their research on innovations in field of drug delivery.

“I always wanted to be part of Controlled Release Society and getting a chance to present my work as an oral talk is just like the icing on the cake.  I would like to thank Dr. Raj Thakur and Orbital-ITN for providing a great platform and support. Along with this award and talk,  I have been given chance to share the stage with one of the greatest researchers in ocular drug delivery and this opportunity can open up new dimensions of collaboration and help doing impactful ocular drug delivery research.”

Deepak would be delivering his talk in the Ocular Focus Group Technical Session on 29th of June 2020 at Virtual CRS 2020.
